Blackbuck Hunting Season: Blackbuck may be hunted year-round without any seasonal restrictions.

Come experience the uniqueness of Flat Top Mesa
at Covered S Ranch for an exotic hunting experience like none other in Texas!

A Blackbuck hunt at the Covered S Ranch will be by spot & stalk at the lower elevations of Flat Top Mesa within our 3,000-acre game preserve. A rifle hunt is most popular for our Blackbuck hunts due to the athletic ability of this species. It is common for an adult to run at speeds of up to 50 mph and gracefully jump both high and long. When they are active, it is a thrilling hunt and a beautiful trophy and delicious meat.
